Gastrostomy

Medicina has a wide range of gastrostomy and jejunostomy devices, both to create the initial tracts and devices for replacement use.

Direct Peg kits

These procedure kits are used to create a gastrostomy tract and place a 12/14/16FR silicone gastrostomy catheter using direct or radiological placement techniques, where a needle and guidewire place a series of increasing dilators to introduce a split sheath and catheter.

Gastrostomy tubes

These purpose made silicone gastrostomy catheters are used as replacement devices into an existing gastrostomy tract. Sizes range from 12 to 24FR.

Button gastrostomy

These low-profile devices are used as replacement gastrostomy devices into established tracts. They offer the advantage of low profile against the skin. Sizes from 12FR to 20FR are available in a variety of shaft lengths.

Jejunostomy

These procedure kits are used to surgically create a jejunostomy tract and place a catheter into the small bowel for long-term enteral support. They are available in 7 & 9 FR sizes.

Extensions sets and accessories

Sets are available for catheters and buttons which allow bolus or pump feeding. Keyhole dressings are also available to help with sore gastrostomy sites.
